Labor Day

So I may get in a lot of trouble for this - but I dig this picture of my mom playing the drums...... and the picture of me and her.... we look beat. We just got done hiking up to a waterfall so our hair got a little drenched...
For Labor Day my parents rented a huge cabin up in Zions National Park. It was so much fun to get the family together and just hang out. Ok, I can't say entire family.... my brother Landon wasn't able to make it. He is currently over in Louisiana/Texas/all over the place fixing power lines from the hurricane mess. He was deeply deeply missed because he IS the entertainment for the family and is always such a joy to be around. However, his women Cami was able to be there and we wanted to see her more than Landon really. It rained a lot of the time but I was ok with that. I just enjoyed getting out of the hot hot city and getting into the cool rainy mountains. We took rock band because I don't think we can go without it. My mom was a trooper and played the drums...she rocked! It was an awesome weekend and I hope we make it a tradition....

She is super cute and reminds me of you when you were little! I am so glad that I found your blog and get to keep up with what you are doing!
